To Breathe in Spirit - we are more that what we seem.

Inspiration comes from

the Latin word Inspirateau, meaning to breathe in spirit. 

        Did you know you are mainly empty space?  Science tells us that as adults we are 60-70% water.  Water is H2O – hydrogen and oxygen.  Aren’t they two gasses?  So you are 60-70% gas and air.  The brain lives on oxygen, it uses about 20% of the air you breathe in.  No oxygen intake and the brain is dead within 3-5 minutes. 

We are made up of air and water with a few minerals from galactic stars.  We have the same substances as a mountain, a tree, an animal, a flower, a rainbow, gas, water, minerals and light. 

So what makes us alive?  What makes us live, what ingredient within us is life?  When we die all our ingredients go back into the soil and the atmosphere.  Minerals, in fact all the minerals, air and water that Jesus, Buddha, Michelangelo, Genghis Khan and Elvis Presley are still present on this planet.  So have you breathed in a molecule or drunk a drop of Jesus or some famous person recently?  Have you ever thought that when you are in a room of people that you are exchanging some of your molecules with them in every breath you take?  Each one of you is becoming a little of the bit of the other.

So all these components come together in a new born baby and break apart again in a dead body.  Do you ever become amazed and wonder how from one fertilized cell life is formed?  More than that, from one fertilized cell comes every different type of cell that makes up your body.  Hair cells bone cells, tendons and muscles, eyes and tongue cells.  Multiple cells with different purposes, in many different locations.  And what is even more amazing is that the body knows when and in what order the cells must be created. The heart needs blood and circulation system before it can pump.  The bones must form in the right order.  The sexual organs, kidney and bladder, lungs and brain all must be placed in the right position, right order for life to evolve. 

Scientist’s might argue that it’s all in the RNA and DNA of our cells.  That our gene pool has all the chemical structure and signals imprinted into it.  But isn’t that amazing within its self, that a line of chemicals can have all that innate wisdom?  That life is created from a blueprint of chemicals.

Our thinking process and thoughts are created basically by two chemicals, sodium and potassium.  The chemicals cause a positive/negative electrical charge that fires or sends a current along a nerve pathway (a miracle of design in itself) triggering more chemicals and electricity to be released causing our thoughts. At a scientific level you are nothing but chemicals and electricity.

Beethoven’s music was nothing but chemistry and electricity. Michelangelo’s sculptures where ideas that came from the firing of electrical, chemical reactions within a fibrous mass called the brain.
It is a miracle that anything happens. I sit here writing and yet all I am doing is interpreting my electrochemical thoughts into patterns that have become a standard form of communication.

So is that, all we are? A bunch of tissue, with an electrochemical charge running through it?

The big question is what is life and where does it residue within us? What is in the gaps within our molecules? Let us say that you take a very powerful microscope and had a close up look at your arm, going deeper and deeper, past the muscles and into the bone and then deeper and deeper into the cells of the bone, eventually you would be looking at the atoms swirling around in space. Atoms that are mostly space, filled with emptiness, the void.

Science is still arguing over what exactly is there or not in an atom

In fact it could easily look like the night sky. The Milky Way could be the arm bone of a huge being and we are just very small beings living in the arm of a very big being, who is living in the arm of a very, very big being and so on. And maybe that means that their could be very small beings living in our arm who have very, very small beings living in their arm and so on. In other words our reality is only a very, very, very small proportion of the Universe we inhabit. From the Microcosms to the Macrocosms, it is all a matter of where you are standing.

So if we are only electrochemical swirling atoms filled with emptiness the question must be asked which part of us is US. Which part of you is YOU? What makes a human being alive or dead? What is the ingredient that we call life?  Do we have a Soul and what is a Soul? Do we have life as some magical ingredient within us? When I cut my hair does some of me go in the bin? 

If my memories are chemicals does that mean every time I go to the toilet some of me gets flushed down the toilet?  Which part of me is me?  Where am I in the heart, in the brain, in the right foot or the big toe?  Am I in the lungs or my eyes, where in the world am I?  This is a question that many Eastern Mystical traditions use to bring you to your truth. 

The question they ask is “who am I”?  Starting from the outer body, asking, am I my arm, my bones, my organs, my blood etc...  Of course in the act of asking the question, “who am I” and answering using the word ‘my’, means there is still someone or some observer who is a even further within asking the question

.

‘Who am I, who is alive and who is this being that lives, who experiences, who creates, who feels, who thinks. Behind it all, who is the witness and where do I reside? What is really alive?

In Buddhism, they would tell you that it cannot be explained using logic that it is only able to be understood by having an experience.  In the book called A Course in Miracles, Christ says that a universal experience is impossible but a universal experience is absolutely necessary. 

We can pull the body apart, we can dissect it, analyze it, look under a microscope and we still cannot find us, the being that inhabits this body.

So we know that we have a body and brain and we have life.  I spent many months asking myself the question, who am I.  And I remember exactly where I was when I fully understood the answer to that question.  It was as Zen Buddhists say a Satori, a moment of enlightenment. 

My intuitive flash lead me to realizing I was energy, but even more importantly I realize that I was intelligent energy, that I was ‘an intelligent energy flow’.  This energy is in everything and in every chemical reaction, the energy that bonds all atoms. And then my mind explained and expanded even further, and I realize that God the Super Universal being was this intelligent energy flow.  That God was the combined collection of all the intelligent, individual energy flows. From Gods perspective all things are one.  As this intelligent energy flow is everything, in everyone and everywhere, then God is the total sum of all intelligence, all knowing wisdom. The Universal consciousness, everywhere at once.

I understood how God created me and how I created my experience.  I understood how God was everything, everywhere, ever expanding intelligence. If God is this intelligent energy flow, then I can understand why God (all that is) can be everywhere, know everything, be everything. Therefore we are also part of this intelligent energy flow. We are the finger tips of God. The creative edge so to speak.

I saw how 'energy must exist before matter is formed', that all solid matter is just slowed down energy.  That energy vibrates at different rates.  And that our senses only see, hear, taste, touch, and smell the world at the level of their vibrational right.  I understood that the vibrational rates through my ears where sounds and musical notes.  Through my eyes vibration was light, the spectrum colors of the rainbow.  I understood each one of my senses had a different range of vibration or energy flow.  Each one of my senses revealed a different level or dimension of life.

I also realized so much of the Universal Mind was unknown to us because of our limited range of vibration.  Change our vibrational rate and a whole new universe reveals itself.  Lift our vibrations and we began to experience the world that mystics, spiritual Masters and esoteric teachers have talked about for centuries.

The Universal Mind is also the Universal Heart.  To raise our selfish love into compassion reveals a different world of unconditional love.

The universal intelligence energy flow will reveal more wisdom and love to anyone willing to lift their energy vibration.  Meditation, prayer, music, nature, anything that has an effect on the senses in an uplifting way can be used to raise our intelligent energy flow.  Raise the energy, raise your vibration and you will begin to experience a different reality state i.e. a different world.
The Universe is multi -dimensional, multi-layered. Just because you cannot see ultraviolet light doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

The space that you occupying at this moment is filled with information.  And I'm only talking about the information that we humans have created.  Your space will have radio waves, TV waves, mobile phone waves, satellite GPS waves, all flowing through this very space you are now occupying.  We haven't even got into the natural waves of energy that is also flowing through and around you at this very moment.  i.e. Gamma rays, ultraviolet light, infrared light, x-rays, heat radiation, sounds that only animals can hear and the seven colors of natural light, just to mention a few.

Scientists aren't quite sure what our frontal lobes in the brain are for. The Yogis and the Buddhist monks say our frontal lobes are receivers of intuitive wisdom.  That our brains are not only sending station but they also are receivers.  Our brains are a radio, and that the radio station is the universe sending us information, interesting concept!

So you are in this space full of information so let's look at this space.  When you are watching TV and you want to change channels.  You don't move the TV to another area of the room.  You simply switch channels, in other words, you switch frequency and vibrational rate.  So within the same space there are multiple layers of information.  Multiple frequencies, occupying the same space.  Layers within layers, levels within levels.

I love the example of the teacher who takes a large container and fills it with rocks he asks the class if the container is full.  They all say yes.  Then he pours in some gravel and asks if it is full and the students say yes. He next gets sand and pours that into the container filling all the gaps.  And again his master class say yes.  And finally he pours a jug of water into the container filling more of the gaps. Is it now full?

The space you occupy right now is full of holes. The Universe is full of space filled with multilayer intelligent energy flows. Energy must exist before matter is born, is a common statement used in physics to describe how material objects can only come into form when there are enough molecules to create the chemistry. Then there needs to be enough chemistry to form what we would call solid objects. Objects that are held together by electial bonding. We are a bunch of swirling atoms revoling around each other held in place by chemical electricity. Filled with light and colour we dance in the cosmic stardust

I get excited to think of the potential. To think we haven't even begun to tap into the Universal mind
As a race of beings we are only in kindergarten. The gift is that we have the tools, we have the brain, the hand with opposing thumbs, we can communicate, we can learn, we can raise our vibrations and tune into a greater wisdom, greater love and a greater life.  All we need is the willingness to raise our vibration rates and a whole new universe will be revealed. So I can honestly finish with the statement that 'we are beings filled with infinite possibilities'.
